Alberto Ramos is announced as Clara's first COO

With an analytical and data-driven vision, he takes on the new position with the challenge of consolidating a global operations team

July 26, 2024 - The leading solution for companies to execute and manage all their payments, Clara announces executive Alberto Ramos as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this new role, he faces the challenge of consolidating a global operations team that integrates initiatives in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, amidst the company’s rapid growth and expansion of its product and resource portfolio.

One of the key projects he will lead is the implementation of new artificial intelligence technologies to ensure even more agility in onboarding, sales, and customer relationship processes. Practically, this translates into initiatives that enable, for example, the verification of a company’s data in seconds, ensuring a more agile and straightforward experience.

Previous to this role, Alberto joined the company as Global Director of Revenue and Operations. With this promotion, he becomes the company’s first COO.

“Alberto is a very well-rounded professional who brings a rare combination of analytical and data-driven vision to the flexibility of working in various areas, always with great skill. In any situation, he manages to offer valuable insights to the teams and, as a result, delivers brilliant results,” summarizes Gerry Giacomán Colyer, co-founder and CEO of Clara. “His promotion is not only well-deserved but also highly celebrated by everyone who has had the chance to work with him,” he adds.

Having worked as a consultant in various Latin American countries for McKinsey & Company, he has extensive experience managing projects in multiple countries simultaneously. Alberto has also held the positions of Country Manager for Mexico at the startup IguanaFix and Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer at Casai.
